According to the County website, “Veronica Escobar has been serving as El Paso County Commissioner for Precinct 2 since January 1, 2007. She works on issues related to healthcare (including healthcare policy, Thomason Hospital and the effort to create El Paso’s first Children’s Hospital), economic development, downtown revitalization, Border policy, nature tourism and government consolidation.”
Commissioner Escobar is also a longtime contributor to The El Pasoan, a free monthly magazine produced by EPMG that is the “voice of Downtown.”
“Charlando con la Gringa”/”Chit Chat with the White Girl” airs weekdays, 4-6 p.m., focusing on the personalities that make our region unique, I will invite guests to join me live in the studio and we’ll take calls and have a conversation.
In an attempt to reach as broad an audience as possible, the show features news at the top of the hour in Spanish, bi-lingual guests and a bi-cultural approach to topics.

I listened but I felt a bit left out. Two obviously intelligent ladies laughing at each others witty comments and talking about the party scene in Downtown El Paso. I think that plays to a limited audience. Good luck.
